  • Ad Machine: 1950’s. Could really use one of those Peter Pan Brassieres.

  • The chemistry just pops out of these fall ads for Tom Ford Beauty.
  • Uglier than Uggs? Miu Miu I think you did it!
  • Proenza Schouler striped T-shirts- Gorg! But $375 dollars gorg?
  • Casual look for men or is it?
  • SJP for American Vogue August Age Issue. As always, on point with the fashion.

In the spirit of the 4th…….I think of a coffee table book that stylistically represents the American spirit: Ralph Lauren.

Love or hate his work, one thing is for sure, Ralph Lauren is the most celebrated American designer of all time. This book is stunning in both mass (482 pages, 13 pounds), pictorial and written content. Not only is it a lovely retrospect of Lauren’s body of work, it is inspiring and encompasses of the ideal of the American dream and culture.

I highly recommend getting lost in Lauren’s world.

Reminds me of happy summers in the past.
